Hello and welcome! My name is Nick Shurmantine, the owner and founder of Nicks Custom Woodworking. After spending 9 years in the Worlds Greatest Navy, I need a hobby.  In 2017, I started woodworking and ended up purchasing my first CNC machine.  With no clue what I was doing with a CNC machine, I spent the last five years honing my skills and expanding my knowledge.  Today, I have two CNC machines, a Laser Engraving and a lot of hand tools.

I enjoy the entire process, from identifying the clients needs, designing the piece and selection of material to building and getting it into the hands of its new owner is what really drives my passion. I love the creative process and put the same care and effort into every projects both big and small.
